   As of recent, I have joined up with the ISSA (Independent Singer Songwriter Association)  The really great thing about this is I have been fortunate to get connected with a couple of promoters and some managers who have sent artists to me to appear on my podcast!  Today I had a promoter call me about one of his artists who is trying to record all of his music on his own at home since he does not have a manager doing it for him. With my recommendations, I was able to get him set up with the right software to help him record all his music and vocal backing tracks and combine them so he can send it out to local radio stations. Being able to help and assist independent artists is what my work is all about and is something I take very seriously but with a fun and professional attitude.    All New Upcoming Musicians & Singer/Songwriters!    17 Years ago, I first started doing the important work of supporting and promoting independent singer/songwriters in the folk genre.  Getting to know all these fantastic performers who create their own music and develop their own sound is what gets My attention!   Over the years I have developed some great connections and friendships with many singer/songwriters all over the country and over across the pond into the UK and Finland!   2026  Will be the 1st Inaugural Mid West Podcasters Conference  which will be held in Waterloo Iowa.  My goals for this conference is to build a great network of business owners, individuals, vendors and a couple of knowledgeable and reliable speakers. This will also be a big networking event for those who are currently doing their own podcasts and or internet radio broadcasts to those who are wanting to learn how to start their own.
