 All New Upcoming Musicians & Singer/Songwriters! 

  17 Years ago, I first started doing the important work of supporting and promoting independent singer/songwriters in the folk genre.  Getting to know all these fantastic performers who create their own music and develop their own sound is what gets My attention! 

 Over the years I have developed some great connections and friendships with many singer/songwriters all over the country and over across the pond into the UK and Finland! What I can tell you is that every one of them has stated that the work I am doing is so very important to their success to which they all appreciate very much just because of the fact that their genre of music is not played on mainstream radio.

Now we come to current day where I am also working with new upcoming artists in the country music genre. I have been fortunate to get connected up with the Mid West CMO which is the Mid West Country Music Organization similar to the CMA in Nashville.  

The music industry has changed dramatically over the past 10 years to where new artists are first taking to social media to get their music out in front of people to see what works and what is not working.  This is where I am discovering a lot of these new artists is from their videos they are making to put out on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and YouTube.

Again what gets my attention are these new artists who are creating their own sound, their own music, yes there are some really talented artists who do cover work. But they try to copy the artist they are covering and not putting their own style into it. But when I see a talented artist who creates something unique to who they are, you will get my attention every time! 

All through school, I was in choir and band, so music has been a part of who I am for a very long time. Music is a passion that can be shared with people around you and is considered to be a universal language by millions of people all over the world!  This is why I do the work, to tell others about the music I discover to let them share in that discovery.
